An organic matcha blend from Kagoshima with a warm roasted rice note

Roasty Rebel is an organic certified blend with 75% matcha, 15% mulberry leaves, and 10% roasted rice. It doesn’t act like a classic purist but brings a green base with a calm, roasted side to your cup.

In matcha lattes, iced lattes, and recipes, it shows warmth and clarity. Roasted notes add more warmth to the profile, while the matcha blends well with milk, plant drinks, or in cooking.

The matcha comes from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan. For this matcha, leaves from the first spring harvest (Ichibancha) and the summer harvest (Nibancha) were used; the summer harvest brings more directness to the profile.

The leaves grow under Jikase-kaen, meaning direct shading on the plant, for 7 to 14 days. Grinding is done with a ball mill; you get Roasty Rebel in a 50g package.
