An organic matcha from Kagoshima for Usucha and Latte
This matcha brings southern Japanese origins into your daily life: from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan, certified organic according to DE-ÖKO-013 and made for clear matcha preparations without detours.
In the cup, it presents itself roasted and nutty. The warmer notes give the matcha a rounded profile, suitable both pure as Usucha and in a matcha latte with milk or plant-based drink.
The tea comes from Ichibancha, the first spring harvest, and Nibancha, the summer harvest. The spring harvest sets a fresh, green frame; the summer harvest brings more directness to the profile.
The leaves grow under Jikase-kaen, meaning direct shading on the plant, for 20 to 30 days. It is ground with Ishiusu, the granite stone mill; this gives the matcha a classic stone grinding as a handcrafted framework.
