An organic Japanese Matcha from Kagoshima for clear Usucha

Southern Veil comes from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan, and focuses on a calm, pure Matcha experience. If you want to drink Matcha without milk or recipe context, it brings a direct, green character to the bowl.

Sensorially, it presents itself full-bodied, with more body in the cup without feeling heavy. Designed for Usucha: the lighter Matcha preparation with more water, where the tea is enjoyed pure and clear.

This blend uses Saemidori, Okumidori, and Asahi. Saemidori gives the profile a softer, greener direction, Okumidori adds calmness and depth, while Asahi brings the classic Matcha reference to the blend.

The leaves were shaded for 20 to 30 days. The shading combines Tana-kaen, the modern frame shading, and Jikase-kaen, the direct shading on the plant. Ground with Ishiusu, the granite stone mill; organic certified according to DE-ÖKO-003.
