An organic matcha from Kagoshima for concentrated Koicha
Matcha Supreme, organic features a calm, full-bodied profile: southern Japanese origin from Kagoshima, organic certification according to DE-ÖKO-013, and a preparation that allows the pure flavor to shine. If you want to drink matcha thicker, Koicha brings the powder more to the forefront.
Sensory-wise, it presents itself as spicy, mild, and full-bodied. Umami adds depth, while the creamy and soft texture keeps the experience rounded without feeling heavy.
The tea comes from the first spring harvest, Ichibancha. For this matcha, leaves were processed that were shaded directly on the plant for 20 to 30 days; this method is called Jikase-kaen.
It is ground using Ishiusu, the granite stone mill. In the concentrated Koicha preparation, the matcha appears calm, green, and present.
