An organic matcha from Kagoshima for Usucha and Koicha

Matcha Mantoku, organic features a calm, rounded profile: green, mild, and with a clear umami side. It comes from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan, bringing southern Japanese origin to your matcha.

In the cup, it presents a soft and creamy impression, without heavy sweetness. Intended for Usucha when you want to drink matcha pure and clear; for Koicha when you prepare it more concentrated with a denser matcha ratio.

The tea comes from Ichibancha and Nibancha, meaning the first spring harvest and the summer harvest. The early season brings a fresh, green framework, while Nibancha can add more directness to the profile.

For this matcha, leaves were processed that were shaded directly on the plant for 20 to 30 days: Jikase-kaen. It is ground using Ishiusu, the granite stone mill; organic is clearly certified according to DE-ÖKO-013.
