An organic Bancha from Kagoshima with a soft herbal note
This Bancha comes from Kagoshima and is certified organic under DE-ÖKO-013. In the cup, it appears light green, soft, and with a harmonious herbal note.
The soft texture makes it approachable, while the herbal note gives the profile a calm green contour. According to the product profile, the tea shows no bitterness.
The tea is from the first spring harvest (Ichibancha). The leaves were shaded directly on the plant for 7 to 14 days: Jikase-kaen.
Fukamushi, the long steaming process, gives this Bancha more presence in the cup and moves it towards a denser green tea profile.
