Sensory-wise, it is mild, soft, and balanced. Its free nature without bitterness makes it pleasant for daily brewing – pure, clear, and uncomplicated.
The leaves come from Mie Prefecture in Japan and are organically cultivated by the Hayashi family. Harvesting occurs in the late first flush; the tea is processed as Chu-mushi Sencha, meaning it is steamed moderately.
Organic is certified here according to DE-ÖKO-039. The 100-gram package is perfect if Sencha regularly makes its way into your pot.
