This Sencha comes from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan, and brings a clear, green expression to your cup. As an organic tea certified under DE-ÖKO-013, it feels consciously restrained: straightforward, present, without loud gestures.

Sensory-wise, it presents a slight astringency. The astringent note gives it contour, while a mild and refreshing profile keeps it accessible – perfect for an uncomplicated Sencha preparation in everyday life.

The tea is sourced from the autumn harvest Akibancha. This harvest period suits its calmer, straightforward nature and provides the Sencha with a factual, pleasantly clear framework.

The leaves are grown unshaded, bringing them close to a sun-kissed green tea profile. The medium steaming level Chumushi strikes a balance between clear structure and more body, without making the tea feel heavy.
