An organic iced tea from Kagoshima for cold green tea preparation

Easy Ice Tea, organic makes Japanese green tea easy to enjoy cold: The 48 g package contains 16 triangle tea bags of 3 g each for a quick infusion with cold water. The blend combines Japanese green tea leaves with a hint of drinking-grade matcha, without sugar and artificial flavors.

When brewed cold, the tea develops a subtle green depth with umami in just 4 minutes. The tea bags keep the preparation simple; if you like, you can reuse the bag multiple times.

The tea comes from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan, and is certified organic according to DE-ÖKO-013. The leaves are processed from Ichibancha, the first spring harvest, and Nibancha, the summer harvest; early freshness and more directness come together here.

The leaves grow under Jikase-kaen, or direct shading on the plant, for 7 to 14 days. Fukamushi, the long steaming, gives the tea more presence in the cup and moves it towards a denser green tea profile.
